The Breakdown:
The Athens Church Beechwood project combined new construction and adaptive reuse to create a dynamic worship and community space within an active retail campus. The work included building a new 21,000 sf, two-story worship center designed to serve as the heart of the church’s ministry. Alongside it, a 28,500 sf cold, dark shell was fully renovated into programming and administrative space, providing classrooms, offices, and support areas to meet the growing needs of the congregation. Together, these spaces deliver a modern environment that supports both worship and daily operations while integrating seamlessly into the surrounding retail setting.
