The Breakdown:
This project included a ±2,500 sf addition featuring new mechanical space, expanded dining, and a multimedia room, as well as a renovation of the existing ±16,000 sf facility. Upgrades included a new kitchen hood, all new millwork, a new elevator, a gable roof structure, and a modern building automation system.
The project began with a highly undefined scope with allowances for unspecified work, and continued to evolve as construction progressed. Multiple drawing revisions driven by owner-directed changes created a challenging schedule; however, we effectively collaborated with the owner, architect and interior designer to resolve issues and successfully deliver the project in time for the house members to move in for Rush ’25.
