The Breakdown:

The Bay Creek Elementary School project was a 7-phase renovation and 17,000-SF addition that transformed the campus with major interior upgrades and exterior improvements. Carefully phased construction minimized disruption, with two phases of interior work completed during the summer of 2020—accomplished in the time typically allotted for just one.

Inside the school, eight classrooms and the media center were revitalized with new finishes and upgraded HVAC systems, creating modern, healthy learning environments for students and staff. The project also included 51,000 square feet of re-roofing, extending the life of the building and improving energy efficiency.

Beyond the interior, small courtyards were converted into adaptive playgrounds, giving students new spaces for play, collaboration, and exploration. The result is a revitalized elementary school in Gwinnett County that blends function, safety, and innovation to better serve its growing community.
